4th of July
Ok I know this has nothing to do with fandoms, but I couldn't not mention it. It's officially that time of the year again with the 4th of July posts being proud to be American. Yes, I do realize the other 364 days of the year we are complaining how much we hate our country, at least most of us are. But this is the one time of the year we can appreciate our country. I know a lot of people from other countries have already had enough of the freedom and liberty jokes, and I'm sure the British are tired of being reminded about their tea being tossed into the ocean already, but it's only for one day. Bare with it and it will be over before you know it and we'll be right back to hating our country all over again. Sometimes you have to see the good that comes with the bad, even if it is for only one day of the year. And you have to admit the tweets under the hashtags are pretty hilarious.
